Your Role:

If you are hands on person with electrical registration and have a desire to learn from some of the best, this could be the right opportunity for you.

 

You will be responsible for the provision of effective, reliable, and efficient day to day operations of all signalling assets in and around the greater Auckland region.

 

This will include the maintenance, installation, restoration, and repair of signal interlocking components, so an interest in this area would be advantageous. With over 50 signalled crossings on our network this role is challenging, fast paced and in an environment where using initiative and problem solving is celebrated.  

 

Your Skills:

Ideally you are a qualified Signals Technician; however, we will consider applications for a Trainee position if you are:

 

  • A registered Electrician preferably working in a commercial/industrial environment
  • NZ Electrical registration and practicing license is essential
  • Reliable, enthusiastic and have a strong commitment to Health & Safety
  • Willing to be part of a callout roster to attend to emergency failures after hours
  • Able to work outside in all weather
