Phone screening
If you are selected to progress to the next stage, we’ll be in touch with a few questions for you to answer over the phone. This conversation generally takes around 10-15 minutes. Interview
During your interview, you will meet with hiring manager and at least one other person. We will ask a mixture of behavioral and competency-based questions, designed to assess your suitability for the role and alignment to our KiwiRail values.
There will also be an opportunity for you to ask any questions that you might have.
Pre-employment Checks
If you are selected to move forward from here, we will complete pre-employment vetting which includes:
• Reference checks with current or past Managers
• Credit check (role dependent)
• Criminal conviction checks
• Drug and alcohol testing
• Medical asasessment – fitness for work.
