We are the backbone of the KiwiRail network, we keep the rail corridor in check so the trains, freight and people can get from A to B. Our teams are responsible for maintaining 4,000 kilometres of rail corridor which includes the maintenance, repair and renewal of the track itself but also structures like bridges, tunnels, viaducts, overhead wires, signals and level crossings.
