He whakamārama mo te tūranga mahi | About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised Customer Logistics Specialist to join our IMEX Team on a permanent full-time basis. Within your new role you will play a major part in our regular dialogue with stakeholders both within and outside our organisation, handling contingencies and day to day tasks.

This will include the daily completion of tasks, including freight forwarding, scheduling, liaison and dealing with ports, shipping lines, export & import customers also looking after critical freight (refrigeration), freight booking and communication management.

Reporting to the Customer Contact Supervisor, you will work in close partnership with your customers and various internal teams and stakeholders. 

Ngā pukenga e rapu nei mātou | What (skills) you will bring:

• Two+ years’ IMEX or freight experience/background
• Minimum two years’ customer service experience, ideally within logistics but not essential
• Intermediate data entry and MS Office Suite skills
• A full, clean driver’s licence
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a clear telephone manner

This position involves shift work on a 24/7 rotating roster which includes working over nights and weekends.
