As a Customer and Corporate Host, you are the first point of contact at our Millennium Centre in Ellerslie. You create a professional, welcoming environment for visitors, contractors, and colleagues.

You manage reception, support office operations, and help maintain safe and well-organised workspaces. Your role ensures our corporate offices run smoothly each day.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming visitors and managing the main switchboard
  • Coordinating couriers, mail, and deliveries
  • Supporting meeting room set-ups and catering
  • Managing visitor access cards, security passes, and key registers
  • Assisting with access control across Auckland office locations
  • Monitoring reception safety procedures, including Fire Warden duties
  • Maintaining tidy reception, kitchen, and shared spaces

You will work closely with the Corporate Workspace Manager and collaborate with teams across the business. You remain calm under pressure and respond to changing priorities with professionalism.

Safety is central to this role. You follow established procedures, report hazards promptly, and support a safe environment for everyone onsite.

This is a permanent part-time position based at the Millennium Centre, Ellerslie.

You will bring:

  • Experience in reception, administration, or customer service
  • Strong communication skills and a professional presentation
  • Confidence managing calls and welcoming visitors
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • The ability to prioritise competing tasks calmly
  • A customer-focused mindset and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence working with different personalities and teams
  • A proactive approach to health, safety, and wellbeing

You will also:

  • Be comfortable using computer systems for records and access control
  • Be able to lift and carry items up to 20kg occasionally
  • Pass regular drug and alcohol screening
  • Have completed at least four years of secondary schooling
