He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role
As a Safety, Health, and Wellbeing (SHW) Business Partner, you will work alongside programme leaders and project teams to embed safety leadership and best practice across KiwiRail. Based in Auckland, this role supports large-scale infrastructure and property projects. You will coach and guide leaders, foster a strong safety culture, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. From incident investigations to continuous improvement, your work will help keep our people and communities safe.

Ngā pūkenga e rapu nei mātou | What you will bring

We are looking for someone who is:
•    Experienced in safety, health, and wellbeing leadership, ideally 5+ years in a complex organisation
•    Skilled in working with regulators and interpreting legislation (Railways Act 2005, Health and Safety at Work Act 2015)
•    Confident analysing data and using insights to drive safety improvements
•    A clear communicator who builds strong relationships and works well with different teams
•    Organised, adaptable, and focused on practical solutions
•    Qualified with a tertiary qualification in safety or equivalent experience, plus relevant training in SHW
