He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role:
As a Senior Storeperson, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping KiwiRail moving by managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of essential parts and materials. Working in a busy, hands-on environment, you’ll ensure that inventory is managed efficiently to meet operational needs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and controlling the flow of goods in and out of warehouses
- Using SAP to enter data, create purchase orders, and track inventory
- Operating forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers safely
- Unloading, receiving, and storing parts in designated locations
- Picking, packing, and dispatching orders to ensure timely delivery

We’re looking for a reliable team player with strong organisational skills and attention to detail. You will need:
- At least 2 years’ warehouse experience in stock control, dispatch, or inventory
- A current OSH forklift certificate and F endorsement on your driver’s licence
- Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Email) and SAP systems
- A strong focus on health and safety and the ability to work in a physically demanding role
- An MPI AP certificate for container de-vanning (advantageous)
