What you’ll do:
As a Trainee Signals Maintainer, you’ll play a key role in maintaining, installing, repairing, and testing vital signal systems in and around Dunedin. You'll ensure the reliability of signal crossings that keep our network running safely. This role is dynamic, fast-paced, and perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Your skills and experience:
- A mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn are key!
- Experience in labouring or manual work is advantageous.
- You’ll be reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to Health & Safety.
- Prepared to be part of an on-call roster for after-hours emergencies.
