Are you experienced in repairing curtain-siders and containers? We're looking for practical people with strong repair skills to join our team as a Curtain-Sider Container Repairer.
This role is about repairing customer freight units - sometimes they're containers, sometimes they're truck curtains or similar. If you've worked on curtain-siders or truck bodies before, you'll fit right in.
Your responsibilities include:
- Inspecting and repairing curtain-sider-style damage, dents, doors, panels, floors and fittings
- Fixing or replacing curtains, hardware, hinges, locks and frames
- Carrying out general repairs on customer freight units used across rail and road
- Following safety standards and completing basic repair documentation
- Working outdoors in a rail yard environment

- Curtain-sider maintenance experience – rail or truck
- Ability to work outdoors and carry out physical tasks safely
- A sharp eye for detail and high-quality workmanship
- Confidence using computer systems for tracking and administration
- Clear and respectful communication skills
- Initiative, reliability and can work independently
- Pride in your work and drive to help build a new in-house capability
