He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the Role

This is a project-based role supporting KiwiRail’s LE School Digital Learning Transformation Project. The role is dedicated to modernising and digitising the 51-week Locomotive Engineer training program, aligning with NZQA standards and introducing digital learning solutions, competency tracking, and blended learning models. The Learning Designer will be responsible for developing eLearning modules, digital workbooks, competency tracking tools, and facilitating seamless integration with KiwiRail’s Learning Management System.

 

Ngā pukenga e rapu nei mātou | What You Will Bring

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in instructional design and blended learning development
  • Proven ability to deliver learning projects within tight deadlines
  • Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms and digital competency tracking systems
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills
  • Training and/or Adult Education qualification required; tertiary qualification in instructional design or related discipline (desirable)
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and project management tools (Jira/Atlassian preferred)
