As a Store person for Mechanical Inventory working at our Waltham site you will be responsible for the receiving, storing, picking, and packing for the distribution of parts and materials nationally. You will assist in ensuring efficient utilisation of the facilities for storage and timely supply to meet our production and customer requirements. 

This is a hands-on role where you will be working alongside mechanical staff in an operational rail environment supporting the long-distance passenger services including the world renown TranzAlpine express and Coastal Pacific services.

  • Strong attention to detail & good with numeracy
  • High level of physical fitness
  • Team player in a diverse team
  • Health and Safety focused
  • Current OSH forklift operating certificate and an 'F' endorsement on your Class 1 driver's licence
  • Computer literacy
  • Previous experience in a logistics or warehousing environment
  • Experience with SAP
  • Flexible with work commitments
  • Open to personal development options
