What you’ll do

 

The Assistant Financial Accountant is responsible for providing accounting support services which include daily bank processes, month end processes, journals, balance sheet reconciliations and tax support.  You’ll have a customer centric focus in assisting the business by investigating and answering queries and assisting with financial processes.

 

As well as the above responsibilities, you will also assist with preparation of annual and half-year financial statements and answer external auditor queries.

 

What you’ll need

 

  • A sound general understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Excellent skills in MS Office suite, specifically Excel
  • An undergraduate degree in accounting, business or similar
  • Ideally working towards or intend to work toward a CA qualification

 

You’ll be someone who genuinely enjoys responding to our stakeholder needs and queries in a timely and professional manner and looking to develop their career in accounting.  You’ll be great at building and maintaining effective working relationships and be enthusiastic at exploring new ways to improve processes and systems.
