He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role:

As a Catering Coordinator based at Wellington Railway Station, you will ensure onboard catering meets our high standards. You will coordinate stock, manage supplies, and support smooth service delivery across our train journeys.

You will prepare and load catering supplies, maintain accurate stock records, and work closely with onboard teams. The role also supports special charters and continuous service improvements.

Safety is central to everything we do. You will follow all health and safety requirements and contribute to a safe working environment for everyone.

  • Clear communication and the ability to work well with different teams
  • Good organisation and attention to detail, especially with stock control
  • Initiative and a proactive approach to problem solving

  • Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Desirable:

  • Experience in customer service or catering environments
  • Knowledge of travel or tourism operations
