He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role:
As an L&D Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in delivering learning strategies that support KiwiRail’s operations and people. You’ll work closely with managers and learning teams across the business, offering practical advice and developing plans that build capability and support our organisational culture. Your focus will be on the Passenger team, where you'll oversee training schedules, manage learning coordinators, and promote safe, effective, and engaging learning experiences. You’ll also work with wider L&D and People teams to champion a culture of continuous improvement and development.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about learning and understands how to deliver real value across a large and diverse organisation. You’ll bring:
- Experience in a learning or training environment, including planning and coordination
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office tools and learning systems
- A practical, adaptable approach with attention to detail
- An understanding of adult learning principles
- A Level 4 qualification in administration or related field, or relevant experience
- The ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
Experience in the rail or transport sector is a bonus, but not required.
