He whakamārama mo te tūranga mahi | About the role:
This role is not your run of the mill PM role. We're seeking a skilled project manager who can get alongside our business leaders and juggle the various needs of many and various projects. It's more about building capability across teams and leaders in an organic way. Being flexible and adaptable will be key to your success along with a genuine relationship focus, so while you may have great disciplined project processes in your toolkit, you'll need to be less structured in your approach.
You'll be primarily working with the Interislander and Customer & Growth business units but interfacing across KiwiRail. There will be ICT systems components of all the projects, so you'll be working closely with ICT project managers to get the business what it needs.
Ngā pukenga e rapu nei mātou | What (skills) you will bring:
To be successful in this role, you will be a proven project manager with significant experience in the delivery of complex projects that cross the boundaries of assets, process, people, technology, health, safety and welfare and business improvement. Ideally you will come from a broad career background that displays innovation and initiative.
You will also have experience in project planning and delivery across multiple disciplines and experience working across multi-disciplinary teams.
This is not an ICT project manager role!
