We're seeking an experienced Senior Business Support Analyst - SAP to join KiwiRail's ERP and Asset Services team in Wellington.

In this role, you'll work across a broad SAP landscape, partnering with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical specialists to deliver solutions that improve business performance and support KiwiRail's digital transformation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering SAP solutions that meet business needs
  • Configuring and enhancing SAP ECC6 across modules including FI-CO, MM, PM, PP, Projects, and RE-FX
  • Driving process improvements and application optimisation
  • Translating business requirements into functional designs
  • Supporting testing, releases, and deployments
  • Managing SAP security and authorisations
  • Providing expert application support and issue resolution
  • Collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes

 

Ngā pukenga e rapu nei mātou | What you will bring:

We're looking for someone who combines deep SAP expertise with strong business analysis skills and a collaborative approach.

  • 10+ years' SAP experience, including configuration and functional support
  • Strong SAP ECC6 knowledge across multiple modules, particularly FI-CO, MM, PM, PP, Projects, and RE-FX
  • Experience supporting business applications within a complex enterprise environment
  • Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, IT, Finance, Economics, or a related field
