We are keen to hear from anyone who holds a trade qualification in Fabrication/welding, Fitter/Turners, Electricians, or Automotive.

This is a hands-on role, working alongside other mechanical engineers from various backgrounds in a team environment, which will involve shift work.

  • Trade qualification
  • Exposure to a manufacturing environment, heavy or automobile industry, machine upgrades, or experience working with locomotives, ships or similar is ideal.
  • Ability to evaluate and interpret hydraulic & pneumatic control circuit diagrams, electrical schematics and enjoy fault finding and process improvement.
  • Knowledge of relevant Engineering specifications and sound engineering practices.
  • Mechanically minded - know the difference between a left and right-handed screwdriver!
  • Full, clean NZ driver's licence
  • Fit and active and comfortable in a hands-on role working in an energetic environment
